At the Traube am See, we offer culinary delights with real passion. Our top-class cuisine combines regional traditions with international influences. For over 65 years, we have been delighting our guests with high-quality, creative dishes and first-class ingredients from predominantly regional producers.

From the beginnings, when Karl Felix brought global experience to idyllic Fischbach, through the formative years under Sebastian Nölke-Damms, who developed the restaurant's unique style of cooking, to today's management by head chef Josephan Wolf, who preserves the culinary heritage and leads it into the future with innovative ideas.

Breakfast for connoisseurs

Start the day healthy and full of energy with our varied breakfast buffet. Fresh rolls, bread and croissants, savoury and sweet treats from the front cooking station, fine sausage and cheese specialities, seasonal fruit, delicious jams and homemade muesli - we have everything your heart desires. We also serve fresh juices and coffee and tea specialities. Enjoy your breakfast in one of our cosy breakfast areas or on the sunny breakfast terrace in fine weather.

Our weekly changing lunch menu spoils you with a reasonably priced 3-course meal. We offer a large selection of meat, fish or vegetarian main courses. Choose between soup of the day or salad beforehand and enjoy a sweet surprise from our patisserie at the end.

The art of cookery - culinary delights in the evening

In our restaurant, you can enjoy culinary highlights every evening, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and a lot of passion.

Our main focus here is on the 4-course GENUSS MENU, with which we send our guests on a culinary journey. The daily changing GENUSS MENU surprises with seasonal ingredients and creative compositions. There is a choice of two starters, two snacks, three main courses and two desserts. These can be selected as individual dishes or as a multi-course menu. Always with a vegetarian option.

Hotel guests enjoy the GENUSS MENU daily as a 4-course menu as part of half board. Hotel guests without half board can book the GENUSS MENU as a 3- or 4-course option on a daily basis at a preferential price, subject to availability.

External guests are also welcome to take part in the culinary journey. Regardless of whether you opt for individual dishes or the entire menu. We recommend that you book a table well in advance.

The Lobbybar - a living room full of life

The Lobbybar is the cosy living room for our guests and locals alike. Atmospheric music and a chilled ambience make it a place for relaxing hours, sociable evenings and pleasant conversations. Whether it's a coffee in the afternoon, a sparkling aperitif before dinner or a fine cocktail after dinner. The team around head barman Matze serves cocktails of all kinds, selected wines, a variety of whiskeys or freshly tapped Pils. If you're feeling peckish, we offer a selection of small delicacies such as tarte flambée and fresh salads.

From historical elegance to modern charm, our various rooms offer a wide range of possibilities to enjoy every occasion. You can enjoy breakfast in the main building. Lunch and evening meals are served in the main building. Alternately and according to availability in the Rustikal, Wintergarten, Landstüble and Fischerstube rooms. In good weather, you can also dine on the large restaurant terrace.

The light-flooded conservatory with its Mediterranean charm offers an elegant backdrop for a romantic dinner or smaller family and company celebrations for up to 30 people.

Landhausstüble

The Landhausstüble impresses with warm colours, fine woods and a cosy stove that creates a comfortable atmosphere. Ideal for a dinner in a small group, thanks to variable partition walls for 10 to 30 people.

Fischerstube

In the 1960s, the Fischerstube was the venue for cultural events. The Fischerstube has been in culinary use again since 2022. The original marble floor and the new yew wood panelling give the room a special warmth.

Whether it's a family celebration, a company dinner or a special event for a small group - we provide the perfect setting for unforgettable experiences. For groups of 15 people or more, we offer seasonally changing menus that are perfectly coordinated. Start with a delicious starter or a fine soup. Your guests choose a main course on the spot. A shared dessert is the perfect finale.

Our premises offer the ideal setting for festive occasions in small groups of 15 to 30 people.
